Jason A. Moche, M.D. is a native New Yorker who graduated from Washington University with High Honors and a double major in both English Literature and Biology.  He returned to his home in New York City where he graduated from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and inducted into the prestigious medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA).

 

In order to pursue his interests in facial reconstruction, Dr. Moche secured a residency position at the University of Maryland – Shock Trauma Center where he studied sophisticated techniques in facial reconstruction.  Upon completing his chief residency, Dr. Moche pursued advanced clinical training in Craniofacial Reconstruction as well as cosmetic Facial Plastic Surgery.  His fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery through Columbia University comprehensively taught both.  Working closely with neurosurgeons, Dr. Moche practiced techniques to restore facial aesthetics in patients afflicted by severe craniofacial trauma or large tumors.

 

 

Additionally, through his fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Moche had the opportunity to practice on Park Avenue with renowned aesthetic surgeons in state of the art rhinoplasty, face lifting, eyelid rejuvenation as well as injectable fillers and Botox.  Dr. Moche has an extremely compassionate and meticulous approach that is applied to all of his patients whether a small cosmetic touch-up or more substantial reconstructive challenge.

 

Dr. Moche has numerous publications in the medical literature and speaks throughout the country on advanced techniques in facial aesthetics and reconstruction.  He is a Board Certified Otolarygnologist as well and serves as assistant clinical professor at Columbia University.  He very much enjoys teaching medical students and residents, and is an instructor with the Institute for Medical Simulation and Advanced Learning here in New York City.
